The Great Hall

Once the banqueting hall of Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I and part of the thirteenth century building, the Great Hall now serves as the main dining hall.

The rafters are original and were restored in the nineteenth century to their former glory and the magnificent fireplace is over four hundred years old, with the wooden over mantle being a gift from King James I and carved to depict his Royal Arms.

With its fantastic high vaulted ceiling, feature fireplace and stain glass window, it serves as a fantastic setting for award ceremonies or private dinners and functions.

The Elizabethan Room

The Elizabethan Room is ideal for larger meetings or small conferences. Originally the dining room of the Holby family, the room was built in 1680 and features a stylish period fireplace.

The Warwick Room

Originally the dining room of the Holby family, the Warwick Room was built in 1680. During both the first and second world wars, the Abbey was used as a convalescent home. In 1914 this room was converted into a hospital ward for Belgian soldiers.

The room features stylish oak panelling and a feature fireplace that makes it a stunning room for conferences and events alike.

Sonning Room & Margaret Dickinson Lounge

The Sonning Room accommodates up to 40 delegates and is ideal for smaller meetings. The Sonning Room is available in conjunction with The Margaret Dickinson Lounge, which is perfect for more relaxed meetings and incorporates an indoor bar as well as our riverside lawn, giving spectacular views across the picturesque grounds.

The Sonning Room includes use of a 65" screen utilising the latest touchscreen technology and can accommodate the following:

London & Rio Combined Room

Located in our Work Hub on the first floor of our Main Building, the London & Rio meeting rooms can be combined into a modern conferencing space ideal for smaller events. Delegates will have access to our stylish kitchen facilities as well as our unique breakout spaces, including our privacy booths. These rooms are conveniently located above our Refuel Café, serving a whole host of hot and cold food and drink.

Meeting Rooms

We have a host of meeting rooms that can be used for breakout sessions within your conference or booked separately for smaller conferences and meetings. The Henry VII Room in our Abbey is steeped in history and seats up to 16 guests while our state-of-the-art Paris, Tokyo, Rio and London in our Main Building are fantastic modern meeting spots that cater for everything from quaint rooms for interviews to bigger sessions of up to 35 delegates.

Office Space

Located on the first floor of our Main Building is our brand-new Work Hub office space. This collaborative, hybrid work space features hot desks for daily working and each desk is equipped with two monitors, a mouse, keyboard so all you need is your laptop. Within the Work Hub, you’ll have access to our unique private booths for confidential conversations as well as use of our kitchen facilities equipped with hot drinks, fridge and dishwasher.

Our packages are ideal for meetings of 15 delegates* or more. Each of our packages includes free parking, smart screen TV's, complimentary WiFi, room stationery including delegate pads, pens & conference boxes as well as still & sparkling water with a cordial station. Our extensive grounds are perfect for team building activities.  We work with a number of specialists to ensure the perfect activity for your team, from challenges and teamwork activities to interactive communication sessions.

Activities can be arranged either as a fun session at the end of the working day or can be specially designed to help improve morale and communication amongst team members.
