Sport England
Sport England aim to make physical activity a normal part of life for everyone in England, regardless of who you are. Right now, the opportunities to get involved in sport and activity – and reap the rewards of being active – depend too much on your background, your gender, your bank balance, and your postcode, but Sport England are determined to tackle this and unlock the advantages of sport and physical activity for everyone.
UK Sports Institute
The UK Sports Institute (UKSI) delivers outstanding support that enables sports and athletes to excel. The (UKSI) deliver a range of performance impacting sport science, sport medicine, technology and engineering solutions to Olympic and Paralympic sports along with a select number of non-Olympic sports. They work with Performance Directors, coaches and others within sports to identify where their expertise can best be utilised and to deliver the services which will make a difference to a sport and their athletes.
The UKSI have worked from their Performance Centre in Lilleshall for over twenty years.
British Gymastics
British Gymnastics is the National Governing Body for gymnastics in the UK. They work in partnership with the Home Country Gymnastics Associations across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
They support club members, coaches and delivery partners to create safe, welcoming and rewarding experiences through investments in the people, places, and activity programmes that enable gymnasts to shine.
Lilleshall has been home to British Gymnastics since the 1980’s Originally in the Queen Elizabeth Hall and then later opposite in King George V Hall that today remains a specialist Gymnastics centre.
England Hockey
England Hockey is responsible for the management and development of Hockey from grassroots to elite activities. England Hockey is also the nominated country for Great Britain Hockey and is responsible for assessing and preparing Great Britain (GB) squads to qualify for and participate in the Olympics.
They are also responsible for giving over 15,000 coaches, umpires and officials training to be able to officiate Hockey games and tournaments.
Archery GB
Archery GB is the national governing body for the sport of archery in the UK. Archery GB is the umbrella organisation for the English Archery Association, Archery Northern Ireland, Scottish Archery, and the Welsh Archery Association. Their vision is to enrich lives through archery in Great Britain, from grassroots to performance level. Their mission is to rebuild, re-imagine and represent archery in the next five years.
Archery GB moved to Lilleshall in 2000 then known as the Grand National Archery Society, they became Archery GB in 2007.
Lilleshall Clinic
Lilleshall Clinic are dedicated to supporting each and every one of their clients to make their own journey back to the best and most well version of themselves.
Whether that’s treating arthritis and joint problems, tennis or golfer’s elbow, pregnancy-related problems, whiplash, or sports injuries, their expert team is on hand. The clinic is purpose-built, air-conditioned, and offers a range of private and fully equipped treatment rooms, as well as access to a rehab gym which contains all of the very latest equipment.
The Lilleshall Clinic has been providing these services to patients at Lilleshall for over 30 years.
