Pirate Pool
Make a splash with fun for the whole family in our exciting Pirate Pool! Ride the flumes, jump the waves and enjoy a fantastic water adventure together, whether you’re looking for thrills or a relaxing family swim.
For younger children, the Clock Fun Pool offers a safe and interactive space designed especially for under 5s, perfect for splashing, playing and building confidence in the water.
Our Pirate Pool is suitable for all ages, making it the perfect day out for infants, toddlers, teens, parents and grandparents alike. Whether you’re swimming, playing or simply enjoying time together, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Discover our exciting brand-new interactive water feature, designed to bring even more fun to your family swim sessions. Packed with engaging and entertaining activities, it offers a fantastic aquatic play experience for children and families to enjoy together.

Where the fun is at!
50m Twister Flume (Yellow flume) A single person, white knuckle ride, combining thrills, spills and screams that takes riders through a flume of twists, turns and steep chutes. You must be 8+ years and 1.2 metres+ to ride.
The Fast Drop Flume (Red flume) A single person slide, with an unexpected rapid drop! You must be 8+ years and 1.2 metres+ to ride.
Lazy River Flume (White Flume) Fun for up to three riders at a time! Age & height restrictions apply.
Wave Machine Different wave patterns, twice per hour.
The Clock Fun Pool Just for infants up to 5 years, (and parents of course), with a slide, fun games, and 20cm deep. A great place to bring your children for their first splash & play in the water.
Useful Information
Please ensure you check and follow our supervision policy before your visit. Children under 4 years old must be supervised by an adult on a 1:1 ratio, and under 4 spaces must also be booked. Children aged 4–7 can be supervised on a ratio of 2 children per adult. If you are attending with a child under 4 and a child aged 4–7, 2 adults will be required in the water.
Our pool is supervised by fully qualified, DBS-checked NPLQ lifeguards to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Changing rooms are available 15 minutes before your session start time, so please avoid arriving earlier than this.
Please note that, on occasion, one or more flumes may be temporarily unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Pirate Pool is open every Saturday and Sunday, as well as daily during Nottinghamshire school holidays.
Do children need to be supervised?

How many adults do I need if I have children of different ages?
If you have a child under 4 and a child aged 4–7, you will need 2 adults in the water to meet supervision ratios.

How much does a Pirate Pool session cost?
Children under 2 swim free. Children aged 2–3 are £2.50, and tickets for children aged 4+ and adults are £9.95. More Members can receive a discount when booking.
Is parking available?
Yes, Water Meadows visitors receive 2.5 hours of free parking. Simply enter your car registration into the tablet inside the centre when you arrive. Parking charges may apply if your visit exceeds 4 hours.
